Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to notiontopdf.app, api.notiontopdf.app, Notion to PDF account and licensing services, support interactions, and the Notion to PDF browser extension. It does not govern Notion, Google Chrome, payment providers, advertising providers, or other third-party services, which operate under their own terms and privacy policies.
Notion content and local PDF processing
The extension accesses only the active Notion page and related resources needed for a user-requested export. Page text, rendered blocks, images, linked files, and assets may be held temporarily in browser memory while the extension prepares PDF or ZIP output.
PDF generation and packaging take place in the compatible Chromium browser. Notion page content, asset contents, and generated PDF or ZIP files are not sent to the Notion to PDF application backend for conversion. Finished files are downloaded to the location controlled by your browser and device.
Account and sign-in information
Anonymous free exports do not require sign-in. After the anonymous allowance is used, Google sign-in may be required to connect the paid account and pricing flow.
When you sign in with Google, we may receive and process the profile information you authorize, such as your account identifier, name, email address, profile image, authentication tokens, and sign-in timestamps. We use this information to authenticate you, connect usage or paid entitlement to the correct account, provide account features, prevent abuse, and support session management.
Signing in does not give the Notion to PDF backend access to your Notion workspace. The extension's Google sign-in scopes are used for identity information, while Notion page access required for exporting is handled by the installed extension in your browser.
Settings, usage, and diagnostics
The extension may store settings in Chrome storage, including paper size, orientation, margins, scale, page-number preference, page asset mode, output mode, filename template, language, authentication state, anonymous usage, and entitlement information.
Our backend may process account ID, plan, entitlement status, successful-export counts, batch limits, extension version, timestamps, and coded error or security events needed to operate quotas, licensing, reliability, and fraud prevention. We do not need Notion page text, linked assets, or generated files for those purposes. Product telemetry is disabled in the current release.
Website, payments, and support
When you visit the website or use connected account services, we and our infrastructure providers may process IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, requested URL, timestamps, response status, and security or diagnostic logs to deliver the service and prevent abuse.
When you start or complete a purchase, we and our payment provider may process your account identifier, email address, selected plan, currency, amount, tax information, transaction reference, payment and subscription status, and renewal dates. Complete payment-card details are handled by the payment provider and are not intended to be stored by Notion to PDF.
If you contact support, we process your email address, message, attachments you choose to send, and information needed to respond. Do not send passwords, complete payment-card details, or sensitive Notion content.
Chrome Web Store Limited Use disclosure
The use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google user data only to provide or improve the user-facing features described for Notion to PDF, for security, or as otherwise permitted by that policy.
We do not use or transfer Notion content or Google user data for personalized advertising, retargeting, creditworthiness, lending, or sale to data brokers.

Sharing, retention, and security
We may share the minimum information needed with providers that support hosting, authentication, payment processing, customer support, security, analytics, advertising, and infrastructure. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or to investigate fraud or abuse.
Locally processed Notion content remains in browser memory only as needed for the active export and is not retained by our conversion backend. Settings remain in Chrome storage until changed, cleared, or the extension is removed. Account, transaction, usage, support, and security records are retained only as reasonably needed for service operation, legal obligations, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and enforcement.
Your choices and rights
You can change extension settings, clear extension storage, uninstall the extension, manage browser cookies, cancel future subscription renewals, or stop using the service. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent.
Send privacy requests to [email protected]. We may verify your identity before acting and may retain information when required for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, security, or dispute purposes.
Children, international processing, and changes
Notion to PDF is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Providers may process information in countries other than your own, subject to applicable safeguards and law.
We may update this policy when the product, permissions, providers, or legal requirements change. The date at the top identifies the current version. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to [email protected].
